Befriending Service
What do we do?
We offer support and friendship to isolated older people in their own homes.
How do we operate?
We match service users with volunteer visitors who have similar interests and are likely to form a good friendship.
Who can benefit from this service?
Anyone over the age of 50, who lives alone and who is socially isolated or lacks confidence as a result of a recent life changing experience.
How much does it cost?
Our service is free.

Why we need volunteers?
We rely on the generosity of volunteers who visit regularly and make a difference to the lives of older people. Without them, the service would not exist.
